The buildings in which we live, work, and learn often treat the well-being of occupants and the environment separately and as an afterthought. But green infrastructure projects can serve as an educational opportunity, foster more sustainable communities and enhance resilience. Phipps Conservatory is committed to sustainability. We promote technology that brings human and environmental health to the forefront and facilitates human connections with nature. Our education programs encourage thoughtful integration of technology. We use Phipps' green infrastructure in our programs, and to promote innovative career options. This session will provide an overview of Phipps' technology and how it aligns with our values to promote human and environmental health. We will explore the ways green infrastructure can enhance STEM education programming and career opportunities.

***This viewing and discussion will be held in the SEED Classroom at Phipps Conservatory. Meet at CONTEXT registration desk to walk together to Phipps Conservatory. There is limited capacity of 30 for this event so the first attendees to arrive will be given priority.
